Café Valance is set on the outskirts of Swansea on the gateway to the glorious Gower Peninsula, Britain’s first area of outstanding natural beauty.

Café Valance Bar and Rooms is situated in the Newton road area and is surrounded by boutique shops, beauty salons and restaurants. The rear terrace overlooks historic Oystermouth Castle.

All rooms have a bright and contemporary feel and are decorated with soft, clean linens. Our rooms are equipped with WiFi access, and large flat-screen televisions with freeview. We also provide luxury Molton Brown bathroom products, hair dryer, fluffy towels and robes and slippers. Hair straighteners and ironing equipment are available on request.

Café Valance’s contemporary café bar offers stylish daytime and evening menus. Evenings at Café Valance are a sociable time where the locals and a celebrity or two can be found mingling and sharing a platter of bread & olives, award winning sausages & burgers from local speciality butchers Howard Thomas & Sons, or perhaps Fish cakes with a sweet Chilli dip.

Our bar has a good selection of local and continental beers, a quality wine list and a wide variety of spirits and cocktails to tempt your taste buds. We also have canopy covered terraces, with blankets and heaters provided for your comfort.
