How to Enter
The Severn Link Ferry Naming Competition is open to all schools in South Wales and South West England (both Government-run and Independent) with pupils between the ages of 7-12 years old.
As many classes or groups within the school as you wish may submit an entry, as long as the participants are between 7 and 12 years old (inclusive). Each group should consist of no more than forty children.
In light of the recent extreme weather conditions that Wales and the South West have been experiencing, which resulted in many schools being closed, the competition deadline has been extended.
Entries can be made by post or email and should be received by 15th February 2010 to qualify for shortlist status. A shortlist of entries will be made and those chosen notified.
One winner from South Wales and one winner from South West England will be chosen, with each winner naming one vessel.
